With so many companies selling products claiming to be natural and organic, we know how confusing it can be to pick out those which are best for your baby. Here at The Little Green Sheep we have done the hard work so you don't have to, going that extra mile to ensure that all the organic and natural products we sell are certified and approved by the leading independent and governmental organisations. So you can be sure that what you think is organic, is actually organic.
It is important to buy certified products not only to guarantee quality and chemical-free, but also as certification agencies examine the social aspects of production (for example child labour is strictly forbidden and continuously checked).
From our organic mattresses to the finishes on our Ryeland cot bed, you will find a host of independent certification to provide the guarantees that you expect. Here is just a few of the regulatory bodies who we work with:

The Soil Association has over 36 years experience in inspecting and awarding organic certification, and their symbol is the most recognised organic mark in the UK today. This mark helps assure you that the approved product meets the stringent organic standards set and that all materials used are fully traceable back to source. The Little Green Sheep organic baby mattresses are currently the only cot mattresses in the UK to achieve the Soil Association standard for 'organic'.
The Institute for Marketecology (IMO)

IMO is one of the first and most respected international agencies for inspection, certification and quality assurance of eco-friendly products. They certify all of our organic cotton that is used in our bedding and mattresses. IMO was recently significantly involved in the creation of a Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and became the first body to offer certification to this world-wide accepted standard for ecological textiles.

BSI British Standards is the UK's national standards organisation that produces standards and information to help promote best practice to manufacturers. Products that meet the relevant BS standards help provide you with the peace of mind that what you are buying for your baby is safe. The Little Green Sheep continually works with Trading Standards to ensure that the products we sell comply with the necessary British and European standards set out by BSI.
