I have just received my second order having bought a custom made mattress a few months ago for my daughter's Stokke Mini-Cot. We've been really happy with it - she loves sleeping in her cot and I can rest assured she is lying on what I believe is the best possible mattress. We have now just ordered the next size up. We also ordered a custom made mattress for her carry-cot, which was great as it meant she could sleep in it as long as she wanted to. She's even slept in it overnight a few times when we've been away which meant we didn't need to take a separate travel cot. What goes in our Organic crib mattress?


Organic Welsh Wool - Five thick layers of organic welsh wool create the perfect support for your baby, naturally absorbing moisture and helping to prevent the growth of any harmful bacteria and dust mites (foam crib mattresses have been proven to encourage the growth of bacteria).

The combination of the organic wool and cotton acts as a natural fire retardant , meaning that no fireproofing chemicals are used and each one of our organic crib mattresses passes UK fireproofing regulations (BS 7177) naturally.

Organic Cotton Cover - Each crib mattress is finished with a non-removable, luxurious organic Herringbone cotton cover that is extremely durable yet soft. Crucially, this enables every crib mattress to breathe more easily, helping to control your baby's body temperature and avoid the risk of over-heating (as recommended by the NCT to reduce the risk of cot death).
