Here you’ll find everything you need to know about delivery when it comes to ordering from The Little Green Sheep. We think delivery should be simple, so we’ve tried to keep things as easy as possible.

We are pleased to offer Free Delivery on all orders over £70 to UK Mainland addresses. Delivery charges will apply on orders under this value and on all non-UK Mainland deliveries. Your delivery charge will depend on the size and weight of your order. Small orders (e.g. bedding and accessories) is a flat rate £3.95, Medium orders (e.g. mattresses) £5.95 and Large orders (e.g. furniture) £29.95 per order. Don't worry; you will only be charged delivery once per order which is automatically calculated at the checkout stage.

All in-stock items to UK addresses will be with you within 1 - 3 working days, and during busy periods delivery may take a little longer. Bulky and high value items such as mattresses are delivered by our courier, and we will always make sure that you receive a call or email before despatch to arrange a suitable delivery date. Light items such as bedding are sent via Royal Mail 1st class post.
Out of stock items
Anything that is temporarily out of stock can be allocated in advance for you, so you will be sure of receiving the item you want.

Refunds - If you are not delighted with the products that you have chosen you may return them to us and receive a full refund within 30 days of receipt, providing the item(s) you are returning is in perfect condition, unused, unwashed and with all the original packaging.
Exchanges - We know that you may not need the items you have purchased for some time, at least not until your little one arrives! That's why we offer an extended 90 day exchange policy on all our products. So as long as the item(s) is in perfect condition, unused, unwashed and in its original packaging, we will be happy to provide an exchange or send you a voucher for the equivalent value.
Note: We cannot accept items for a refund or exchange if the goods are not in perfect condition or it is obvious to us that the goods have been used or washed. However, for items that are in new condition but missing their original packaging, we can offer a refund or exchange up to 70% of the purchase value. We also cannot accept returns or provide a refund on custom orders once they have been manufactured (usually 7-10 working days from receipt of order), unless proved faulty.
Non-Faulty Items - For all non-faulty product returns you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the products to us (we can help arrange collection of Bulky items).
We will, however, send our exchange back out to you by 1st Class Post at no extra charge. A refund or exchange cannot be processed until we receive the unwanted item(s).
Faulty Items - In the rare occurrence that your item is faulty, The Little Green Sheep will send a replacement upon receipt of the original faulty item (all postage costs incurred will be refunded). We require all faulty items to be returned to allow us to analyse the product and ensure that the fault does not occur again. However, if returning the item before receiving a replacement is inconvenient, we are happy to accept photographic evidence in order to allow us to process the exchange. In this situation you will receive a pre-paid self-addressed packet, and we allow a 60 day period to return the item (we reserve the right to charge for any unreturned items where exchanges have already been sent).
To return any products to us, please email us at email@example.com to advise that you would like to arrange a return or exchange. In the subject heading please state RETURN or EXCHANGE whichever is appropriate. If you are making an exchange, please give details of the item you wish to receive in exchange, i.e. item name, size, colour. Exchanges are made subject to stock availability. Within 48 hours you will receive confirmation of your request and a returns number. Please print this email and enclose it in the parcel along with a copy of your receipt. Please ensure the packaging you use to return the item to us is suitable for despatch (i.e. a jiffy bag if appropriate).

For refunds, you will receive your refund credit, cheque or exchange order (when in stock) within 7 working days of us receiving the goods.
We endeavour to process this as quickly as possible.
Please note that we are unable to refund an item without a receipt and that the refund will only be given to the original payer.
Our 5 year guarantee
What does the guarantee cover?
The guarantee covers ANY manufacturing defect on all cot and cot bed mattresses, over a 5 year period from the date of delivery.
What does it exclude?
What other conditions apply to the Guarantee?
We operate a fair use policy; this is to ensure the mattress has been used as intended and not miss-treated in any way. The mattress should always be used with a mattress protector, turned once every 3 months and kept clean and dry; for more information, see our mattress care page.
As such, if the mattress is returned and shows signs of abuse or the product being misused then the guarantee will be void. Signs of misuse include, but are not restricted to, water marks, excessive 'dipping' or 'ribbing' caused by non-turning of the mattress, staining and/or ripped outer covers.
- Any claims under the 5 year guarantee must be made within 5 years from the date of delivery.
- The mattress cannot be used for children over 5 years old. (The 5 year guarantee is based on it being used from birth.)
- The mattress cannot be used for twins that co-sleep.
